Prior to founding Ella Architecture, Franzella worked at top leading design firms such as Zyscovich Architects, Wolfberg Alvarez and Partners, and Howard Design Group, where she worked on multi-use and high-rise
projects.  

A graduate of the prestigious Pratt Institute Bachelors of Architecture with Honors in 1998. While living in New York, she worked at the Pratt Planning and Architectural Collaborate, a non-profit organization firm, dedicated to urban redevelopment. She was chosen to attend the International Masonry Institute Apprentice Program, where she learned hands on construction skills from internationally renowned masons. Her journey to fulfill her dream of becoming an Architect began as a teenager, when she was accepted to Design and Architecture Senior High School (D.A.S.H.). While at DASH, she demonstrated leadership qualities and was elected as the first female Student Government President Class of 1994. Franzella continues her relationship with DASH by founding the D.A.S.H. Alumni Association and is a current board member. 

Franzella is passionate about design. Each of her projects represent her commitment to sustainability and social responsibility for her clients and the community at large.
